What’s missing in the AI and legal conversation right now? Early data from the AI in Legal: 2025 Benchmarking Survey points to three gaps legal teams are still wrestling with: 1/ Education 35% of lawyers want to actually understand this stuff—how it works, how to prompt it properly, and how to bring their teams along for the ride. 2/ Trust, Accuracy & Risk 30% are concerned about quality. Hallucinations, data privacy, and fuzzy regs make AI feel more risky than ready. 3/ Impact on Legal Roles & Ethics 20% are watching closely to see how AI shifts the work itself, along with ethical concerns around AI-generated legal advice Want the full pulse on how legal teams are planning, experimenting, and making calls on AI in 2025? Take the 5-min survey, get early access to the report. Closes tonight: https://lnkd.in/gRsbKfEH

We had the privilege of speaking at York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, where we dove into Agentic AI, explored how AI is shaping legal careers, and tackled questions around regulation. It’s inspiring to see so many future lawyers eager to understand and leverage AI in their practice. Thanks to Osgoode and Samantha Delaney for having us.

Last week, the team was in Florida for Future Contracts Miami. Conversations centered on how in-house teams leverage AI to do 80–90% of the initial lift so they can focus on strategic work. A key theme was that lawyers aren’t being replaced, but those who leverage AI will lead the way. Thank you Timo Karakashev, Robins Spats, and the entire Cosmonauts team, for putting together a great event.
